Can the Lakers upset the Clippers?
The Los Angeles Lakers (31-28; 26-33 ATS) have dropped two of their last three contests. They sandwiched a 123-118 home victory over the San Antonio Spurs with a pair of road losses against the Golden State Warriors 128-110 and the Phoenix Suns 123-113. Last Sunday, the Lakers shot 52.2% from the field (15-for-35 from deep) while outscoring the Suns 52-40 in the paint.
However, it wasn’t enough, as the Lakers earned just eight free throws and missed four of them. They also allowed 14 offensive rebounds and grabbed three in return. LeBron James dropped 28 points on the Suns. He also had 12 assists and seven rebounds. Anthony Davis double-doubled with 22 points and 14 rebounds, and D’Angelo Russell added 20 points and seven assists. The Lakers fell to the tenth spot in the Western Conference.
